You’ll host your own garage sale, and we’ll help you advertise it.  Fingers crossed for good weather!!

Register your participation with the Wentworth Residents Association at contact.wentworth@gmail.com by May 24th.  It’s free with your annual HOA fees (Due April 30, 2013).

We will:

• Include your address on a map listing all sales within the Wentworth boundaries
• Advertise in the Herald classifieds for a Community Parade of Garage Sales, drawing in shoppers from across the City
• Advertise on Kijiji, also drawing in shoppers from across the City
• Advertise on boulevard neon signs for our Wentworth Parade of Garage Sales, increasing volume of participation, and drawing in shoppers

You will:

• Host your own sale at your own house, and keep all proceeds
• Post local directional signs to your sale, if you wish
• Encourage your neighbor to participate too!

The Wentworth Restrictive Covenants require Wentworth Residents to paint their wood fences a specific color. www.dundeeresidents.com

It specifies Behr Mesa Grey DP 373 but this is not available from Behr at this time.

Cloverdale Paint located at 1935 – 37th St. SW has color matched this stain and has the information filed under “Wentworth”.

You’ll host your own garage sale, and we’ll help you advertise it.  Fingers crossed for good weather!!

We will:

• Include your address on a map listing all sales within the Wentworth boundaries, and distribute the map Saturday morning to garage sale shoppers.
• Advertise in the Herald classifieds for a Community Parade of Garage Sales, drawing in shoppers from across the City
• Advertise on Kijiji, also drawing in shoppers from across the City
• Advertise on boulevard neon signs for our Wentworth Parade of Garage Sales, increasing volume of participation, and drawing in shoppers

Information:

• WSCR members only program. Cost of membership is only $25 a year.
• Ice Time: Every Wed: 10:45am to 11:45am
• The season goes from Feb to March
• Program targeted to parents with toddlers but skate time is open to all members

Regular Price of Admission:

• Public Skating Admission Adult (18-64) – $7
• Child & Senior (12 years and under & 65 years and older) – $3

Our Rates for Members:

• Free. (Does not include skate and helmet rentals)

Skating Rules and Regulations:

• Helmets are mandatory for all public skaters at all times. Hockey or All Sport helmets are accepted.
• No shoes permitted on the ice – only skates.
• Hockey sticks, pucks, playing hockey, playing high-speed games and figure skating are not permitted during public skating.
• No strollers, sleds or personal skate aids permitted on the ice.
• Public skaters must follow skate traffic at all times (counter clockwise).
• No food or beverage is permitted on the ice.
• Waivers must be signed

Skate and Helmet Rental:               

• Skate rentals are $5, Helmet Rentals $2. (you can provide your own equipment)

Volunteers:

• Free membership to volunteers: Volunteers are needed to track roll call and to help with equipment rental.
• Parents can register for the ice time as they see fit. Volunteer to record how many sessions have been used.
